Todays mix is heavy in violence… heavy in sex… heavy in gore… just plain heavy! No, not really, but it does rock! It contains music from the Grindhouse double feature Planet Terror/Death Proof. Excellent film, if I do say so myself. If you haven’t seen it, rent it now! It harkens back to the days of 70′s “grindhouse” double feature “B” movies, churned out at a relentless pace for not a lot of dough. I have my good friend Donna to thank for being my muse for this mix. I went through high school in the early-mid 80′s. It was a weird time to be a teenager. The last vestiges of disco were almost gone, New Wave was big and Hair bands were on the uprise. My high school dances left something to be desired. I was just a goofy kid that really had no sense of timing when it came to dancing. I did have alot of fun, though.
